Influences:
Sum 41, Suicide Machines, Rancid, Greenday, Living End, AC/DC, Guns N' Roses, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Van Halen, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Alter Bridge, Creed, and more.
El Hodgey started playing guitar when he got kicked out of band in 10th grade. Inspired by the energy and Punk Rock attitude of bands like Sum 41, Rancid and The Offspring, El Hodgey began writing his own punk rock songs such as" Let's Go" and "Fartacious Rebellion."
As El Hodgey matured (not really), so did his musical tastes. His guitar style steadily evolved into a more Rock N Roll sound that was inspired by Rock N' Roll legends such as Guns N' Roses, AC/DC and Van Halen. The spawn of this inspiration manifested itself in songs such as "That's How We Rock N' Roll" and "Who Done It."

Currently, El Hodgey is sharpening his chops and learning covers. Some of his recent favorites are Highway Star by Deep Purple and Master of Puppets by Metallica.
